Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is a symptom of excessive vomiting in pregnant women that causes weight loss (more than 5% of initial body weight), dehydration, ketosis, and abnormal levels of electrolics. Hyperemesis gravidarum can begin at week 4 to week 10 and improve at 20 weeks gestation. Psychologically it can cause anxiety, guilt, anxiety, and anger. This study aims to find out how the description of hyperemesis gravidarum cases at tk iv 01.07.03 (tni-ad) hospital in padang sidempuan city in 2022 This research method uses a descriptive method, the type of data collection from this study was collected using secondary data obtained from medical records at tk iv 01.07.03 (tni-ad) padang sidempuan hospital in 2022 The results of this study showed that pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum based on age most occurred at the age of 20-35 years, as many as 22 people (62.85%). While based on gestational age most occur at high risk gestational age (< 16 weeks) as many as 30 people (85.71%), while based on gravida the most occurs in primi gravida as many as 11 people (48.57%) After conducting research on the description of hyperemesis gravidarum cases at tk iv hospital 01.07.03 (tni-ad) padang sidempuan in 2022, the conclusion that the author came to is the picture of hyperemesis gravidarum that occurred in 2022 at hospital 01.07.03 (tni-ad) padang sidempuan as many as 35 cases.
