EDUKASI DAN PRAKTIK SENAM BAYI GUNA OPTIMALKAN TUMBUH KEMBANG BAYI DI KELURAHAN LEMBAH LUBUK MANIK

Abstract

Infancy is a golden period and a critical period of development. This period is called the golden age, because there are important stages in the child's growth and development process, where physical development grows rapidly. In general, many factors influence the growth and development of babies. Generally, babies can take their first steps at the age of 9-12 months. Then, they start to walk at the age of 14-15 months. Providing stimulation to babies is often done by people closest to the baby. Baby gymnastics is one way of providing stimulation. This activity was carried out by the Padang Sidempuan Central Midwifery Study Program D III Community Service Team. Place of implementation in Lembah Lubuk Manik Village, Padang Sidempuan Hutaimabaru District, Padang Sidempuan City, North Sumatra. The main target for this activity is mothers who have babies aged 5-24 months. A total of 15 mothers were actively involved as participants. This community service activity succeeded in increasing mothers' knowledge and skills regarding baby exercise.
