EDUKASI DAN CARA PEMBUATAN HAND SANITIZER DARI JERUK NIPIS (CITRUS AURANTIFOLIA) DAN LIDAH BUAYA (ALOE VERA) SISWA SISWI DI SMP 2 BATANG ANGKOLA

Abstract

1. Hand sanitizer is one of the products used to kill germs practically and easily without using water and soap. Hand sanitizer can be used at any time, for example after holding money, before eating, after going to the toilet and after throwing out the trash. This counseling was conducted at SMP N 2 Batang Angkola with a population of 26 students in grade VIII. It aims to foster awareness of the school environment and increase students' insight into the importance of using hand sanitizer to maintain hand hygiene. This counseling was carried out using a qualitative method using experimental techniques. Explaining about hand sanitizer, the benefits of hand sanitizer, and practicing directly how to make hand sanitizer. Based on the results of the counseling, students can see that the use of hand sanitizer has an effect on maintaining hand hygiene in the school environment and outside of school. The benefits are to increase students' awareness in maintaining cleanliness, especially on the hands. An explanation of hand sanitizer can increase students' knowledge, this counseling is expected to help students in maintaining hand hygiene to reduce the risk of transmission of viruses and bacteria in the school environment.
