Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents also have very complex problems along with the transition period experienced by adolescents. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are 1,769,425 (90%) women who experience dysmenorrhea with 10-15% experiencing severe dysmenorrhea. Epidemiological studies in Egypt reported the incidence of dysmenorrhea in 75% of pubertal adolescent girls with several school absences of 20.3% which were associated with the severity of symptoms. The theme of this study was to determine the effect of yoga exercises on menstrual pain in second-year students of the Midwifery Study Program, Diploma Three of the Darmais Padangsidimpuan College of Health Sciences. The research used was quasi-experimental (pseudo-experiment) using the Prettiest posttest-only design research design. The research site at Darmais Padangsidimpuan College of Health Sciences. The study population was 15 students, the research sample was 15 people. Data analysis using Univariate Analysis and Bivariate Analysis. The results showed that most of the menstrual pain decreased as many as 15 respondents with a percentage (5.45%), the p-value was 0.000, meaning that there was an effect of yoga exercises on menstrual pain. This study implies that the provision of yoga exercise therapy can reduce pain in adolescent students who experience menstrual pain. It is hoped that the results of this study will become a reference for D3 Midwifery students in devoting themselves to the community.
