PENGETAHUAN IBU YANG MEMPUNYAI BAYI TENTANG IMUNISASI ROTAVIRUS

ABSTRACT

               Rotavirus is a common cause of diarrhea in infants and children, especially in countries with poor environmental sanitation (Ministry of Health, 2022). World Heart Organization (WHO) Year 2008, The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of mothers who have babies at the clinic dr. Ira Aliza Siregar M.Kes, Sp. A PadangSidimpuan City in 2023. This research is descriptive in nature by using a quota sampling where a sample of 30 respondents uses a questionnaire which is examined based on age, education, occupation, parity, and source of information. Based on the results of the study, 30 respondents obtained the frequency distribution of majority knowledge based on the knowledge of the majority with less knowledge as many as 22 people (73%), the majority based on the age of 20-39 with less knowledge 20 people (67%), the majority with less knowledge of high school education 16 people (53%).Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the majority are knowledgeable. Mothers who have babies about rotavirus immunization are still lacking, so it is expected that mothers who have babies will increase their knowledge about rotavirus immunization through electronic media.
