PENGETAHUAN IBU YANG MEMPUNYAI ANAK 3-6 TAHUN TENTANG MANFAAT ALOE VERA UNTUK MENURUNKAN DEMAM

Abstract

Fever can occur when heat generation exceeds heat loss. Fever is considered to occur if there is an episiodic (periodic) or persistent (continuous) increase in body temperature above the normal value and there are references that say the temperature increase is at least 24 hours (Lusia, 2015). In the city of Padangsidempuan reported in 2016 recorded as many as 78 cases. This number has increased compared to last year 2014 amounted to 84 cases. The purpose of this study was to find out how the mother's knowledge about the benefits of aloe vera to reduce fever in children aged 3-6 years in Huta Tonga village, Angkola Muaratais district in 2022. This research was conducted using a descriptive method using a total sampling of 32 respondents, based on age. , education, occupation, sources of information, and parity. From the results of the study, it is known that the majority of people have less knowledge as many as 27 people (84.4%), the majority have less knowledge with age 20-39 years as many as 24 people (75.0%), the majority have less knowledge with high school education as many as 12 people (37.5%), the majority having less knowledge with household work as many as 18 people (56.3%), the majority having less knowledge with multipara mothers parity as many as 17 people (53.1%), the majority having less knowledge with Electronic Media information sources as many as 18 people (56.3%).
