Doing gymnastics activities is very useful for managing hypertension so that membrane permeability increases in contracting muscles as a result when gymnastics is done regularly it can improve blood pressure regulation. The purpose of this community service is expected to have a positive impact and can reduce the incidence of hypertension and increase knowledge about hypertension and direct intervention in dealing with hypertension which runs smoothly and conducively. The research method used is by calculating pre and post hypertension gymnastics. The results of the paired sample test, t-test obtained þ = 0.000 <α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. The results of the study showed that the average systolic blood pressure before hypertension exercise for the elderly was 151.86 mmHg, diastolic 95.04 mmHg and the average systolic blood pressure after hypertension exercise for the elderly was 91.20 mmHg, diastolic 91.18 mmHg. The conclusion of this community service is that hypertension exercise for the elderly has an effect on the blood pressure of the elderly with hypertension.
