HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI DENGAN DISMENOREA SEKUNDER DI KELURAHAN NAPA TAHUN 2022

Menstruation or what we know as menstruation is a natural occurrence that occurs in normal women. This occurs due to the detachment of the endometrial lining of the uterus. The World Health Organization (WHO) explained that the incidence of menstrual pain in the world is very large. On average, more than 50% of women in every country experience menstrual pain. In Indonesia, the incidence of dysmenorrhea is 64.25% consisting of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. In Surabaya, 1.07% - 1.31% of the number of patients with dysmenorrhea came to the obstetrics department. Based on the amount of bleeding can be categorized as normal (spends 2-3 pads), Hypermenorrhea (spends 5-6 pads), Hypomenorrhea (spends < 2 pads). While abnormalities in blood disorders are categorized as normal (3-6), Menorrhagia (> 6 days), Metrorgia (bleeding outside the menstrual cycle). Analysis of the data processed using a computer with the steps of data analysis are: Univariate analysis, Univariate analysis is carried out to obtain the distribution of students based on knowledge. Bivariate analysis, Bivariate analysis is used to determine whether there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable using chi statistics – squares. The results showed that of the 50 respondents, the majority were teenagers with good knowledge, as many as 29 respondents (58%), with sufficient knowledge, namely 11 respondents (22%) and 10 respondents with less knowledge (20%).
