PENGETAHUAN REMAJA TENTANG PENYAKIT MENULAR SEKSUAL DALAM MELAKUKAN SEKS BEBAS

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2021 stated that every year there are 357 million new cases of four sexually transmitted diseases that can be cured at the age of 15-49 years, prevention in countries to monitor sexually transmitted diseases is 70%. The purpose of this study was to find out the knowledge of adolescents who have about sexually transmitted diseases in having free sex in Class X IPS 2 SMA 3 Padangsidimpuan in 2023. This research was conducted using a descriptive method using a total sampling of 25 respondents, researched based on knowledge, environment, sources of information , the role of parents and social culture. The results showed that the majority of respondents had less knowledge of the environment (100%), the majority of respondents had less knowledge of the environment 21 (84.0%). The majority of respondents have less knowledge of electronic media information sources 15 respondents (60%), the majority of respondents have less knowledge of the role of parents in educating less 17 respondents (68%). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the majority of knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases in free sex is still lacking It is hoped that adolescents will have more knowledge about the effects of sexually transmitted diseases in having free sex or health workers when delivering directions, information or counseling and independently seeking information related to health.
